am not sure if you revieved my comment to make shure you have a Pirates Cove Hamburger for me. As you are aware, they are legandary among the cruising folk. actually, it is my favorite marina, we always anchor in roberts Bayou and dink in for burgers and beer. The barrier islands along the Mississippi Sound are uninhabitable. Horn island has the ranger station, West Ship Island, fort Massatuchets (1 for spelling, just not my day) Cat Island, Smugglers Cove protected anchorage for all but a SW wind and of course there are fove yacht clubd along the Mississippi coast with very conpetive sailors. If you are a yacht club member, I know Biloxi Yacht club is up and running and welcomes recipical privilages. What is your destination?
last nite was our last nite in the gulf until jan---was awesome---fair winds, following seas and full moon and stars to guide us---and the morning fish that got away bent my heavy duty deep sea pole to half and broke 45 pound steel leader---hooooyah----woulda been great dinner LOL--next time--i will come for him and get him lol......maybve with stronger steel leader lol......he is mine!!!!!!! LOL---we go to ingrams bayou now--byp[assing pensacola for alabammy---watched the blue angels practice---hooooyah!!! havent watched them since garden city , LI when they used to be based out of mitchell field, just nextr door ...LOL....ancient history--they still rock!! and make windows shake lol--bubba doesnt like them--he is scared lol....pooooo rbubba....hiding in the V berth!!!! with his head ion the corner ...LOL..he will get over it as soon as we anchor and will be on the deck looking for things to watch........

A six day run with one 18 hr day. been across the gulf twice Ms to TX by ICW tw times, Ms to Sarasota area 5/6 times. Normally singlehand. I think, just maybe, my next stop will be the Matagorda Bay area. time will tell.
