HOW IS SEAKNOTS GOING IN THE NEW YEAR?

I am aware it is the middle of  very cold winter in your hemisphere, even so the last post I have viewed was written in May 2021.In Sydney. Australia we are in the middle of what is developing as a normal Summer after a pretty miserable 2022 and I have been looking forward to the regular updates, usually from the other side of the world.I hope all is well with the Sea Knots structure, in particular the Beneteau 40-43 division and the quiet period is simply climate induced.Regards and may we all…See More

"10-11 year old battery charger supplied by boat builder with questionable operational characteristics! Personally, I would just replace the 40amp charger with a new "5 year guarantee" charger for peace of mind."

DOLPHN 40 AMP BATTERY CHARGER

Hello all.The Dolphin 40amp battery charger in my 2011 43 is charging well, EXCEPT the cooling fan is cycling on and off every 20 seconds or so. Volts and amps are correct  although there is red light top and centre flashing red, does not look happy. It seems as if the thermostat controlling the fan is not functioning correctly as the unit is not even warm.I cannot locate the Beneteau supplied manual, any clues as to the fault.Regards,Bilgolabands (Liberte)See More

I saw your question about the wiring in the B43 cockpit table. Our's is a US built and has a socket on top of the table for a lamp. There is a switch on the front of the table tha turns the lamp on/off. I hope this helps.
