I think you have that a bit backwards. He's right when he writes about a vacuum gauge. Most diesel engines have a mechanical or electrical fuel pump mounted after the primary filter. So there is no pressure in that line. A vacuum gauge would be th...

2 places that come to mind are Factory Creek in Beaufort, SC and South Beach in Miami. Factory Creek anchorage leaves you with less than a half mile walk to a large grocery store while liquor and a laundry are closer. In South Beach you can actua...

The sooner you start moving the better. You'll soon find that there are groceries within walking distance of a lot of anchorages. No need to be transporting 9 tons of food down the ICW. A 2 week supply of food is plenty. Some places the walk is a ...

Thanks Veranda for your comments in Zen Group...I have so much to learn. Can't wait to get my boat back in my slip, and back on the water...It is discouraging with such a major expense on the get go....I know about $ in the hole in the water...but I want to at least have a chance to sail a little...or should i say LOTS?
Thanks again

Mike, can you provide information on the breaker? I will pick one up and keep as a spare since this seems to be a problem that may pop up based on at least a couple of folks experience. Thanks Sam B43, Hull #9
