I'm a Martin fan. I've got a D-28 and a D-12-20. I also play bass, a Fender Jazz Bass. Keep a Peavy electric six sting for when I need to amplify.

I carry a Ovation Standard. I find the composite body holds it's sound in any weather condition.

After years of little bands and little bars, I'm getting rid of all my electric stuff. I think its interesting that I own a Yamaha guitar, a Yamaha keyboard, and a Yamaha outboard motor...the motor sounds the best when I play...
Thanks Martin, I have a Westone(electric) I wanna sell, had it signed by the late Gary Stewart but need to hand it off to some else finally -want an acoustic to learn on but hadnt been in the dire need to seriously look. Was told my westone has great action.

took my first guitar lesson...now I'm looking for an acoustic too ! there's also craigslist... !
I found a good place to buy cheap guitars for knocking around in boats or giving away to kids.
www.shopgoodwill.com seems to have about 300 instruments listed every day.
Just picked up a Johnson (china) single cut dreadnaught acoustic for $42.
Sometimes a gem shows up there and I've seen Gibson's & Fenders go for fair value above 2k. Bongos & Ukes are always on those pages also.
Enjoy.

"Hi All,
