Hi Bill, did you ever find a sailboat? What did you end up with and where is it moored?

You might try googling Bristol 29.9 for sale and see what that does.

The hull on the 29.9 is solid fiberglass, so blisters are not much of a problem. The hull to deck joint is fiberglassed, then through-bolted every three inches all the way around, so it's very strong. The deck, but not the cabin trunk, is cored, so, like on any boat of it's age, it's good to look for soft spots - if any, they may be around the stantions or other deck fittings - not hard to fix, or harmful to the strength of the boat. We've sailed Paloma all over and through two Force 10 storms - she's a tough little boat.
Good luck in your search and be sure to get a good survey when you find the right boat.

B43 Traveller

The starboard side of my Traveller is starting to lift up. I am guessing to remove the center 5mm Allen bolt that goes through the middle of the sheeves, although I cannot get it to budge, to access it. Does anyone have any experience with this??Thanks Dave B43 Shore's AdriftSee More
