We home ported our boat, Wu-Hsin in Tarpon Springs from 1992 - 1996 then moved her to the east coast...Savannah then Beaufort (SC) then Charleston (SC). We are currently in St. Augustine en route to Punta Gorda via the Okeechobee Waterway where she will be home ported for the foreseeable future.

Sounds like a FINE trip in the making for you and Phil.. Some years ago some friends and I did Tuxpan and Veracruz .. then on another trip, Isla Mujares I have not been to Mexico in several years.. I hope it is still as friendly and inexpensive as I remember! and real Mexican food, YUM. Lately, the news of the drug violence is a bit off-putting !

between the mosquitoes and racoons, i have had a trying week. arrived home Tues night, had left ol PANACHE open for the day; must have been 12 kzillion skeeters aboard. I lost the first and second skirmish, then lost the battle and retired to the clubhouse for a cozy mosquito bitten night on the cushy carpeted floor ( not 20 anymore)! Wed night revisited by my good friend racoon. He was cleaning the galley. What a mess, and the dickend getting him out of the ketch. 5am next moring awakened be noisy hissing from the main saloon (wild west Texas speak). Please do not even try to visualize the gray-haired bald headed, fat old man in mortal combat with one vicious r'coon. I won the ball game, again cleaned the galley and main salon. 'ell, there was nothing for the lil beast to even eat. Last night I was revisited by the demon and the battle was on; he lost. yet to just be one up on be, i awakened prior to daybreak and he was back on board. I have no idea how the lil rascle asquired access to the galle and main salon this time. Well, tonight is another night of the r'coon wars. Maybe it is time for the trap! ! ! . . . heck, i can not win this week my g-p chewed on my ear during an annual physical, seems i have not visited me 'ol eye doctor in over a year, as well as ptting off the blood test. just do not like needles. nada, not a good week. but life is good. ele bill was a tad over 30 dollaros and is not the weather just grand . . . and life goes on . . .
