I'm sure many of us ladies will want to help...I am retired, and still learning to sail. Had many learning experiences in the purchase and repairs, and marina seeking, and all that is involved...see my page...I will contact you. Sounds exciting, and Good Luck

I wasn't sure whether to put this note in the forums or here so I am putting it in both places....

Hi, I am finishing up a big new project for our Women and Cruising site. But I would really like some input from some women who are at the stage of looking for a cruising boat, or outfitting their cruising boat. If you have a chunk of time soon to look at some webpages, do some online reading and then give me some feedback, I would really appreciate it. These pages are not published yet on the Women and Cruising site so I would have to send you the link to our current draft.
You can give me feedback by email, but really what would probably work best would be for me to call you after you have looked at the pages and talk over your reactions, have you respond to some concerns I have about how well certain parts work. I am in Argentina now, but I would call you on skype. I can call phones through skype cheaply....

If you have time now (today, or in next several days) and are interested, please email me at kathy@forcruisers.com

Thanks,
Kathy

A quick hello from Minnesota! Hoping to launch in Lake Superior mid May! Its a short season, but exciting. I sail with my DH; grew up on the Minnesota "prairie" and started sailing about 6 years ago.

Hi Marlene,
Annapolis is one of my favorite port cities. I have been several times,i could live there, truly. Wish I could remember the cute B&B I saw last I was there only streets away from the center. I have never stayed in one, but imagine if it is near the center of the historic section/harbor it would be very nice. Annapolis is the greatest walking place, I have stayed at an Irish hotel (sorry can't again recall the name), great food, not too far from the center. I have been in the Marriott for dinner and for lectures during the sailboat show last October; it is very nice, great location. I just know you will love it!!
Enjoy,
Robin
