Ahoy sister sailors....now that Tiehack is snug for the winter am spending time researching sailing/boat maintenance/outboard engine information.  Seems my files are needing clean outs/updates which is another winter project.  Am planning to re-list my boat this spring (had to take it off the market last spring as the bottom work folks let me down)......that's all done now and looking good.  It will one of the saddest days for me when Tiehack sells as we have been happily tearing up/down Lake Ontario for the past 30 yrs....Suziekat who sailed with me for 18 yrs. has passed and I miss her sweet self terribly.  Much as I dread parting with Tiehack who has always brought me safely home to a port.... it seems time for us to go our separate ways and move ahead.  Am working on updating her inventory list. I continue to search for my liveaboard, going south boat.....somewhere in the 34 to 36 ft range which I think is still manageable for me as a single gal in her 60's.  Somehow I don't scamper around the foredeck as I did even 10 yrs. ago yet still have my health and some agility.  Fair winds to all and looking forward to reading  your posts.

Lola...thanks for that tip, have made a note of your suggestion for the future. Over all these years (30) of ownership of this boat have just been using automotive diesel treat for the fuel each winter. It helped some but finally needed to clean out the tank. Am so glad to have had the diesel fuel tank cleaned out. As I mentioned do think it really did make a difference. Is the end of another sailing time up here....now planning and looking forward to spring/ launch and another sailing summer up here in Canada
