Well put!

I would be happy to be a buddy boater, or be accompanied by a buddy boater. I think the companionship of a buddy boatist would be grand, wherever the distination, be it short and sweet or from here to there. I think I would welcome most sailors to...

I just found this thread so I thought I'd chime in. I have lived aboard Lealea, a Vega 27, since 1990. Laura came aboard in '96 and we cast off in 2007. We lived and worked full time in Honolulu and got in "Mini cruises" around the islands on long...

We're not full time cruisers or liveaboards. We've had Paloma, our Bristol 29.9, for many years and we use her as our beach house in the summer when it's too hot to sail, and on interesting and adventurous voyages in cooler weather: Bristol, RI to...

Hey,

Thanks for the comment about the used bookstore in New Bern. I've been having a tough time writing this morning so I just took the trash ashore, drained the dog, and came back to your comment. Now I'm rarin' to get to work.

Fair winds!

Well ...you end up having to make more money to fill the travel kitty ..or did you decide to sail on? (which would be the natural temptation of course). Either way ..im sure life is getting more and more interesting by the day ...

kewl deal, I'm not too far from there. it seems like around last year there was a boat sort of tilting in the shallows near there. maybe someone towed that one away from the shallows and she just filled with rain water and went down. I can not remember what color the mast was on tht one that use to sit in the shallows. I might have to go diving and check it out this ummer.
thanks,
Bill
