Bella, do you still have the hatch or is it completely missing?
If you have it then take it to a repair facility that does marine glassing.
Maybe they can rebuild it.
I have no idea what area you live in but here in Bridgeport, CT I would have recommended Cap't Cove seaport. They would have at least advised you what to do or if they can do it.
I think at one time Oday used green in their trim. Mine and Joe Lynch's, a 30ft, and I know his is a year or two older than mine, both have blue trim.
Pete, Fan for Foil has green trim. I can't remember his name or how Bella could contact him. Maybe you could help here.
Bella, you sneaky little O'dayer, you. You bought an O-30 and who knows if you would've mentioned anything about it if you have a "need to talk to someone with one."
I'll snoop around and see if I can come up with a name and some contact info for you. I think Capt. Joe from this group might be an O-30 owner, or maybe nauticalrich, also from this group.
And if you want the e-newsletter "The rOnDAYvous Report," send me an email address (send off-list to pooby_99 at yahoo dot com) and I'll respond promptly.
It's almost here -- just a few more days till the 2009 Northeast O'day Owners' rOnDAYvous in Brightwaters, Long Island, on New York's beautiful Great South Bay!!
It's not too late to plan on being there. We've always got room for more! Don't be one of those who end up kicking themselves after the fact, saying, "Damn! I should've been there!"
(Any last-minute questions? I'll be available online till Thursday noon; then I'm shoving off for the rOnDAYvous.)
Glad to be part of the group here. Launched my 272LE this year and have owned and been sailing O Days for many years now. Look forward to some great discussions and chat.

I just found this group! Sorry I missed so much. Proud 25 owner here, named Guru's Method. I sail out of Apponaug Harbor in Narragansett Bay Rhode Island.
The latest issue of the e-newsletter "The rOnDAYvous Report" is now available. If you're not already on the mailing list for the big owners' get-together (July 10-12 in Brightwaters, NY), let me know and I'll be sure to add you. You can also see the latest issue at odayowners.com in their "downloads" section (under the "Resources" pulldown menu). Hope to see you at the rOnDAYvous.
You may be able to help a fellow O'day owner, or get needed help yourself, at the swap meet to be held as part of the annual O'day rOnDAYvous this coming July. If you have parts, gear, supplies, etc., that you no longer have use for, put it aside and bring it to Brightwaters, Long Island, during the rOnDAYvous. Only two rules: everything is free, whether you need something that someone else has, or someone else needs what you have. And when the rOnDAYvous is over, take your unclaimed stuff with you, or throw it away. No leaving anything behind.
(Here's a sneak preview: I've got two cabin dome lights and an old-but-still-working Loran unit that I'm prepared to give away.)
"Hi All,
french built 2010 43 has been very dry down below but now a slow leak has occurred which is showing at the limber holes under the floor board in forward cabin. Bilge pump goes every 3hrs for 20secs. Not sure if it’s fresh/rain water or…"
