Hoping to connect with some of you who have boats in the Clear Lake, Galveston Bay and Texas coastal area. Galveston Bay has some of the most advantageous sailing around. Sailing/cruising options - east into Trinity Bay, north to HYC and Bayland, south to Redfish, East Bay and Galveston are among the highlights, as well as, navigating the HSC with the Big Ships.

What's going on in the area this weekend? Rain, rain and more rain?

Actually, I just want people to know what really happens when you join cruising.stuffiminto.com. The admin there is a lying, unethical, immature bastard who can't be trusted. I don't know what your relationship to Sean Sullivan is, but that's the fact. He's also refusing to delete accounts to try and artificially keep his forums membership numbers and posts up.

I dont have a clue as to why saildog posted what he did here about cruising.stuffiminto. I have no affiliation other than being a member of the forum.

cruising.stuffiminto is a sailing forum of men, women, hubbys & wives. The forum does not allow people posting offensive messages, pictures of men's genitalia, feces, or naked children. Any who deem this acceptable behavior is banned.

SailingDog was banned.

Experience tells me he has been checking here every 30 minutes to see if I would respond. I bet he wants to argue about how he was "mistreated", but he is out of luck because this is my last comments pertaining to the ankle biter.

A good cruising site that you can post questions, ask for help, place an ad for crewing, or just plain boat talk can be found at http://cruising.stuffiminto.com/

The guys and gals are friendly and helpful and there are several local sailors there.

Jan. 2, 2009, First day of sailing for the New Year. Ladye and I went for a sail in her boat on Galveston Bay. Shorts and tee shirts were the uniform of the day. Temp in the 70's and winds 10-15 knots. Cruised along at five and a half knots with jib only. Great Day, thanks Ladye.

Feliz Navidad y Feliz Año Nuevo. It was a beautiful Christmas day in Corpus Christi, high 70's and a bit overcast.- not enough wind to go sailing - but a nice day nonetheless.

The annual Christmas Boat Lane Parade in clear Lake is tomorrow, Sat. 12/13. It begins at dark and is always very festive.

Anyone know of a free crewing site I could place an ad on? I'd like to find a boat to crew on anywhere from 7 days to 6 weeks including offshore passages.
