The round the world race is on the last lap. We are beefing up some sailing skills with the virtual race, (don't leave the sinnaker up overniote). Anyone interested in following from Rio to Europe, go to Volvooceanracegame.org. The "real race" is also fun to follow. We have picked our champion "Green Dragon" out of Ireland. Our boat is the Drac Verd (Green Dragon in Catalonian)
Happy Valentines to all.

This was sent to me by Terri...of interest?
Hi Lola, You might be interested in this. It's Women Under Sail out of Maine. They offer a sail/paint course on a beautiful sailboat. I did the 3 day live-aboard course last fall. It was incredible & I learned a lot and Capt. Sharon Greenlaw is a great instructor. The boat is a 43' Pearson Contessa ketch. A joy to sail & awesome people on board. http://www.womenundersail.com/2009-schedule/paint-sail-2009

I'm a member of National Women's Sailing Association (NWSA) It's a great organization and they are offering Women only diesel clinic with Mack Boring the beginning of April - it's pricey $ 400. but very thorough and you have to register by Feb 23rd. www.womensailing.org
