Hi Jen,
Please keep in touch. I will be over your way sailing a Lagoon 42 out of Lauderdale, May June. I would like to take the oportunity to meet a few seaknots people on that side of the world to assess sail compatability tobe able to invite them to visit Australia and sail.
Kind regards,

Phil

Hi Jen,
Thanks. The invitation for any of the USA buddies to visit here stands. I will be likely sailing with my Manta friend about that time. He has a new Lagoon 42. Keep intouch and we may have the oportunity to qualify our sail compatability at that time. We could take you out with us some time.Tom is based at Fort Lauderdale.
Regards,

Phil

Hi Jen,
I'm in the same boat so to speak. I live in Gold Coast Queensland Austraila. Always looking for a sail buddie. When we go up the coast here it is often night sailing due to distance between ports. I have done some sailing out of your area in a Manta. (Bahamas) Did Panama canal in a 38 mono and about Mustique in a 52 mono. I have a seawind 1160.
I will fly to Cuba last two weeks of May and be in Florida first two weeks of June. Can swop those around. If you wanted to go some where at that time I am happy to help. I would visit prior for you to check me out. If it works you would be welcome to crew for me on a trip here.

Kind regards,

Phil

Hey Jen, I have my boat on the hard at Glades boat storage. I was in the Mooring field in Ft. Myers Beach all last year, was a fun place but not Key West. Sorry I missed your post about finding crew, I would have loved to have done that.

Hey Jen!

Have an enjoyable trip and I look forwrad to talking with you more about nearby destinations. I'm so new to the area I have no idea where I can go. I am looking to meet-up with friends from my passage down from Boston in either the Keys or Bahamas as soon as Cayo Mio is put back together.

I had to repair her transmission and rudder this time. So while she was out I refaired and painted her bottom. So hopefully she is ready for another several 1000 miles of cruising.

Enjoy you Christmas and we meet soon almost neighbor.

The way things are looking we could be "buddy sailing" as Cayo Mio is still on the hard in Allegator Creek! Hopefully she'll get launched today and I will move her before Christmas, but I'll keep you informed.

Who knows perhaps we could crew for each other on this one as long as you promise to not keelhaul me!! I'm fragile you know.

Merry Christmas,
Capt Tom & Queen Olivia

PS Olivia appreciated the complement, but don't do it too often as she Iunlike myself) can be extremely demanding. My phone number is: 774 269-6423 in case you need anything.
