I hope you don't mind - I've added you as a friend. I am familiar with Rock Hall. Did some sailing this summer with a couple of sailing friends. Sorry I didn't respond to your earlier comment (much earlier). Been busy and haven't visited the site much of late. Now that I'm getting itchy about sailing again will most likely visit more often.

Gary, SeaKnots is much like Facebook. You have tto be confirmed as a friends to share your profile. I sail out of Deltaville, VA which is in the mouth of the Rappahannock River. I sail a Beneteau 473. I am also new to SeaKnots but I have joined a couple of groups and also started one. It is a good way to share information about places to go and also about problems you may encounter while sailing. Good resource site.

"Auto ascending setup is an interesting idea, though it takes a bit of fiddling around to get it right. Once it's dialed in, it actually works quite well."

"Michael, From experience over three keel boats a fully battened main is almost a requirement. Not only will it make dropping the sail into the boom bag far easier it certainly reduces any flogging and vastly lengthens the life of the sail. While…"
