Mike, I don't know if this applies to your problem, however I had to change both cables from the battery switch to the electrical panel because of voltage drop. We took out 6 gauge wire and installed 0 gauge which reduce the voltage drop down to under 1%. This solved all our battery issues. So, please check to see that you have the proper size cable installed, if you research voltage drop you will find that the length of the run increase the diameter of cable to maintain voltage. Frank

Mike, yes I understand about the genoa. Once they're rolled up you lose shape even though they have the foam pieces in the luff. Hopefully your sail maker can do something to fix that for you. Considering the conditions you typically sail in you may be better off using a smaller sail.

Mike, glad to hear you have the wheel locks taken care of. I always lock mine down when we're either at the dock or at anchor so I can appreciate the need for them. Yes you have to play the traveler and mainsheet to keep her from getting over powered but when you do she flys. I haven't had any leech issues with the main reefed although it's not that often I've had to do it. By any chance is your topping lift interfering by being too tight? I had to let off on mine a bit for that reason.

Wheel locks are nice. Hope you can get them. We also had some play in the steering which they were able to tighten up via the cables.
