Our weekend trip to the Hook









We made plans with Chuck and Sandra on s/v Eliora to go down to the Hook and back. Having similar sized boats, it's great fun to sail together.

Saturday was a beautiful, sunny day. We didn't need the motor at all. There was another interesting fact. Usually when we reach the point of Sandy Hook we get attacked by these biting bugs. Meeting the Crew of s/v Victoria: 7-27-08





Today was an unexpected surprise. Franc and I had met our friends John and Emily on s/v Jezebel in Manhasset Bay for dinner last evening. It was so great to see them because they were not able to make the Summer Equator dinner last weekend. As always, we had a lovely time.
