winter projects are the most difficult as they require our old antique and arthritic bones to actually work against the elements and despite the discomforts----i a m currently diagnosing battewry and charger failure in a boat i am trying to repair and restore--thank goooodness for selling her already---jus tgottta keep her good until april!!!!

Yes... projects do need to continue during the winter. Heck, just this past month it dipped into the 60s. I had to change out from a swim suit to shorts to fight off the cold. Life is tough in S FL.

I do not envy you northern boaters at all....

Work proceeds even when it's cold. Really good long underwear is critical.

Now I have to swab the deck ... in the cold ... with water.

haha - life is what zips on by with blinding speed while you are refitting a sailboat! Oh wait - that's the cash flow! :D

My dilemma - if I want to sail next summer, I need to work on the boat this winter. When it's cold. And snowing. And dark. Maybe if I take another nap...

there is soo much cold air in pair a dice---have 2 options----cpt licensure under a 50 ton master or under an unlimited master and tallship captain----as opposed to skipper---there is a big difference.....and a future in warmer waters......we see what the options are in a few more weeks after summer actually arrives here----it just keeps peeking out for a few days every so often here.....do i allow a gooood and reliable friend to become partners and make money from my 2 sailboats or do i sell my ericson 35mII and the formosa and run.......
