Have wanted to visit for a long time. I made it to Marathon last week from Ft. Myers but with the North winds at 20+ it was a bear of a trip!! Got beat-up pretty bad in Florida Bay off Capr Sable.

If anyone knows of some good safe anchorages please send the infor along. As I said in my upcomming article in Atts & Lats "Local Knowledge is a KEWL thing if you have it, but it can be a B____ if you don't!" Thanks in advance and when is a good time to come to KW.

We went for our first time in early Oct. this year. Not Fantasy Fest. We stayed at Marrero's Mansion Guest House. BEAUTIFUL & reasonable too and right off of Duval St. near everything. We will go back and will always try to stay there when vacancies;

I've been there a couple of times and I know the owner of a B&B on Duval st. so I'll be back. Soon I hope.I think the B&B is called the old customs house. I guess it has a bar attached. I haven't been there yet although I have an open invite.

Hi Key West Lovers.
I just found your forum and just had to join. Key West is one of my all time favorite places. Love the life, atmosphere and water. I hope to someday get out of the saloons and do some serious sailing in the Keys.
