Hoping to connect with some of you who have boats in the Clear Lake, Galveston Bay and Texas coastal area. Galveston Bay has some of the most advantageous sailing around. Sailing/cruising options - east into Trinity Bay, north to HYC and Bayland, south to Redfish, East Bay and Galveston are among the highlights, as well as, navigating the HSC with the Big Ships.

I haven't logged on in ages, I hope everyone's boats are still floating. We're looking at moving Paloma from Ingleside up to Freeport in the next month or so.

its new year's eve -whoooohoooo!  headin out to get some wind in th sails and hair, then at 10 tonight, th boardwalk's poppin firecrackers.  im sure they're gonna be a 'blast' as usual.  aint too congested, get under em pertty good, not quite as remarkable as bein offshore under a total eclipse, but it'll do in a pinch.

th fireworks, sponsored by th Kemah Boardwalk, were above average last week.  th generous exhibition encourages me to view these next several shows from th bay.  th Boardwalk launches a captivatin display every friday night in june, july 1, 2011 as well as july 4th.  last friday was advertisement at its finest. if yer plannin on arrivin to th area by car, i suggest get here before dusk.  by boat, th bay gets quite congested, so be prepared for anything.

they pop th first firecracker at 9:30 pm. and last for about 20 minutes.

like i said last friday was beyond average, tommora should build even more suspense to what is to be expected on th fourth.

have a great summer

B43 Traveller

The starboard side of my Traveller is starting to lift up. I am guessing to remove the center 5mm Allen bolt that goes through the middle of the sheeves, although I cannot get it to budge, to access it. Does anyone have any experience with this??Thanks Dave B43 Shore's AdriftSee More
