Franc, will you going via the Turks & Caicos, or a long run to Luperon? I've done the Georgetown, Provo, Luperon run a couple times, both with just two of us aboard and that was about as long as I'd want without a break. After Luperon you might look at Samana in the DR, a very nice stop with a nice park across Samana bay. The security there is now great, much improved over the older reports. And after Luperon being in Luperon, Samana looks like a different country.Your projected path looks like it'll be the South coast of PR, I hope we can meet up. I'll be in the area between here and the BVIs. I hope you'll have time to check out the Spanish Virgins, Unlike the US and British Virgins there's small populations centers in a small area of the islands and mostly undeveloped and pristeen land and beaches for the rest. Free moorings at many of them and except for behind the reef at Culebre most are vacant, even at sunset. The Spanish Virgins attractiveness seems to be the best kept secret around. Unless you draw 4' or less though you'll have to fuel and water up in PR Keep in touch. Harvey, SV Sea Bound

Hervey, we should be passing Salinas on our way to the Virgins. We are now in Georgetown awaiting the next window to Luperon.

Hi all, this is Harvey on SV Sea Bound, and I'm basing in Salinas Puerto Rico and cruising the area from here to the BVI's. I'd love to meet any "Sea Knoters" coming thru.

You could also hide up under the southern end of Normans Cay.

We'll be there this year but not for another 2 weeks or so. Have fun. Speaking of ground tackle, what are you using?

Not sure I will make it down this year, but you never know.

Hope your ground tackle is good.

Hoist a Kalik at Eddie's Edgewater for me.

Right now we are anchored at Allan Cay in the Bahamas. Friday will be our first Northerly wind 30+ and want to be in a safe place. Right now we are looking at the marina in Highbourne Cay.

After the Northerly passes we will continue south in the Exumas island hopping and then spending some time in Georgetown. Is anyone else in the area? Let me know, we would love to meet up.
