Hi All,
I have just purchased a Beneteau Oceanis 40 2011. I have just replaced the house batteries with two 200ah batteries. I don't know where there is a switch to change to AGM and their is a button on the side of the unit.
I get a slow blinking yellow light and if pressed I get a fast flashing Green light.
does anyone know what this means or where I could find a manual. I have sent an email to Dolphin but thought I would ask you guys?
any help would be great.
Thanks
Jay

Dolphin?
I wouldn't recommend pushing any more buttons til you have a manual. Battery chargers normally have a small switch on them somewhere that reads:
Flood/Gel/ AGM
You simply push the selector button to the appropriate position.
Good Luck

That photo shows where lines from your batteries are connected to your charger ( three red positive (lines) from battery and a common shared ground line. Looks like a standard battery charger to battery setup. Now you need to investigate a little further to try and find the battery type selector switch. Is there a cover of some type that you might be overlooking on this charger? Why not have someone in the marina with a bit of experience to take a look at the charger to help you locate the switch if you can not find it.
Almost all modern day multi stage chargers have a "battery type" selector switch but maybe this is not a multi stage charger? If it's not you will need to get rid of this charger and purchase a charger that can charge flooded/agm/gel batteries otherwise you' ll probably gonna have a short service life from those pricey agms. Hope this is not the case and you can find a battery type selector switch.
Hello,
I wonder the exact batteries that you are using. My boat comes with 2 140 AH batteries and I also would like to replace them with larger capacity ones. However, the size is a problem unless I change/adapt the boxes, the wiring, etc.

I advised last year than when possible I would forward you a copy of our Dolphin Charger manual.
Finally that is now attached and you should have no trouble configuring your unit. Take the cover off to reveal the jumper switches.
As an aside our Dolphin has performed faultlessly and keeps our battery bank it top condition.
