May have to escape Iowa for Mexico this winter, but hope to spend next winter in my boat on the Gulf coast.
Sailed from Chestertown ,Md to Montrose, Ia via Chesapeake Bay, C&D Canal to Delaware Bay, to Cape May, NJ to New York Harbor' Hudson River to Erie Canal to Buffalo,NY, Lake Erie to Detroit River, to Lake St Clair, St Clair River to Lake Huron, to Lake Michigan, to Calumet Harbor , Illinois River to Grafton, Il, Missippi River to Montrose, Iowa.
Complete the loop down river to Florida Keys and then back to starting point at Worton Creek in Md. , 2011/12.
