WaveRV Wi-Fi antenna

Posted on April 6, 2009 at 3:23am 12 Comments

Ok, so I bought the WaveRv Wi-Fi antenna and hooked it up. I was curious about adding a 5 ft length of cable and how to determine signal strength so I called the tech support # on the web site. First thing they wanted to know was which trailer park I was in! I told 'em I don't do the trailer park thing! I tried e-mailing for tech support a week ago but still no response.

I've been trying to find a Wi-Fi antenna/booster to use on my boat without sucess. Has anyone found one that REALLY works?

Kitchen cabinet pegs loose!

We have a beneteau 40 2009, in the kitchen cupboard there are pegs in one cupboard to organize dishes and plates etc.Strangely the pegs are very loose, don't fit the holes well so don't really stay put to keep the dishes in place. Can other owners say if their pegs are also very loose? Are they meant to be glued/sikaflexed in place? What other solutions have been tried to get them to stay put?…See More

Bow thruster goes off

I am experiencing a problem with my bow thruster on my Beneteau 43. There was a post earlier on with the same title posted by Frank but there is not the way it had been sorted. I have noticed that my bowthruster works ok on idle but then as I increase the revs the indicator lamp in the button of the control unit starts flicking and then it switches off. I have fitted brand new batteries and had a couple of attempts by technicians to fix this at quite an expense without positive results. I am…See More
