Howzit Cal Sailors,
Nice Boats there boys! Great to see a little roll call on here.. We snuck in a motor/sail before the game yesterday and picked up a small(10#) Mahi. Good pupu's for the game , which came on at 1:30p.m. our time. Kona is a little too hot for me, but still part of one of the greatest places on the planet! Keep the pictures coming. Great ! We've got a 2/29 and a couple of Cal20's in our harbor, but no 31's. You guys enjoy the El Nino weather.
Aloha ka'kou,
Leonard

Hey Loren,
She's a beauty
I use to live in Tacoma but, only sailed 3 times in 22 years. Moved to Vegas and bought my Cal in '07. Never had a sail boat before. LOVE IT
I knew a Loren that worked at Marco Marine, any chance it is you?

Hi Walter,
I am on the yahoo group, just not very active
I just returned from Key West. Had a chartered 47' lagoon that we took to the Dry Tortugas and then watched some races "Race Week" and of course the Duval Crawl
Let me know if you need crew!

Thanks for the "welcome" Leonard.
I named my boat after my favorite place in the world, you may know it ;-)
Every year I want to put her back on the So Cal coast but the $$$$ is too much

Howzit Kevin,
Welcome to the Cal forum. We've got a T/2, but have heard great things about the 31. Not too much activity here, but enough to stay around. Weather in Hawaii has been typical winter, save the above average number of high surf events. Surfers are scoring this year! Not sure which area that you're sailing in but I am sure that the Cal 31 is doing you right. Hope to see some pics of your boat.
Aloha ka'kou,
Leonard
