Digital Atrs Group

This group will become a place to display digital "Art". Anyone who has or would like to learn how to turn their photos into art, then this is where to come. We will be putting tutorials up here on Seaknots on how to do various tricks with your photos with Photoshop and Painter. Also lots of techniques on improving your photos. The digital art world is growing leaps and bounds and becoming more and more accepted into the realms of traditional art. Please if you have any Ideas for this group just shout it out.
Digital Art is a lot of fun and very rewarding. I have personally being into graphic arts for many years. I was a traditional artist for a lot of those years. I am also a MCSA with a degree in Comuter Networking so it was a perfect marriage for me. Also after getting into boats it made more sense to use a graphics tablet and a laptop than to drag an easel and brushes around.

Hope you join us or simply send us your Ideas
We chose not to display any traditional art as this is a digital art group

Thanks

I thought I'd say hello as I've joined this group.
I work with digital pictures a lot and also use Photoshop and other software.
I have a small photo studio set up on my basement. Usually, It try to get the best and most interesting shot I can produce myself but often, to improve on the photo or to play with it, I use photoshop. I find I can't live without it. LOL
I work with Canon Rebels, and keep a Canon Powershot in my pocket for those 'quick opportunity ' shots.

I'll yet have to get a good shot of my CS22 under sail. I guess I'll have to take it from the dingy while hubby sails by.

Thanks. Yes. The tricky part was getting rid of the dinghy that was being towed awkwardly on the original picture...

Spring is showing it's sunny face and it's time to break out the cameras and capture the birth of the season. Anyone have any photo projects planned?

Recently lost a wealth of bootlegs in a computer crash...may get more. Have boat now, will work for food -the money goes to my addictions (toys for the boat). So hope to catch up on the new bells and whistles...

This is a great group ! I have a low cost digital camera and I'm looking to get a new one. BUT, having used the SLR cameras, I can't stand the shutter delay in the digital cameras. I can't afford a SLR digital and I'm wondering if any of you feel the same and have a recommendation. Thanks

Anyone working with Photoshop should visit www.earthboundlight.com. This site has a wealth of information and is upgraded regularly. I have it integrated into my home page.

Photoshop CS for most things with Paint Shop Pro for a few additional effects. Welcome
I'm with the other big digital guy, Canon. Started with them in film and continued when moving to Digital. I use all Sigma EX lenses. I have downloaded other programs but haven't used them much. Going to upgrade to CS4 soon and add Lightroom to my bag of toys.

Why are hubcaps less common on modern vehicles?

Hubcaps, which are attached directly to the wheel and rim assembly, are less frequently seen on modern vehicles. This shift is largely due to the adoption of wheels made from aluminum or metal alloys, which are less vulnerable to damage from salt, road chemicals, and harsh winter conditions compared to the previously common steel wheels.WheelCovers.Com prioritizes customer support and security to provide a seamless shopping experience.
