SeaKnots

Well it's coming up once more. They seem to get closer together every year. For the past few years I have been giving myself a present every year. For 68, I got my ear pierced. For 69, I did a 6 hour endruance race with my oldest son, on mini bikes. And we won the two and four hour segments. I must admit that I was physically unable to go the final two hours. And for the big 70, I gave myself my first and only tattoo. A sailboat on my right shoulder. Sunday will be my 71st. I guess my present to myself this year is being offshore, heading towards Tampa, in good company, on a good boat, with supposed to be good weather. That is about as good as it gets, so will be a happy one. I saw my face in a mirror yesterday, first time in several days. I must tell you that I get pretty dark, and I now look like a piece of shoe leather with hair on it. Long as I'm happy don't matter much to me, and I am a happy camper.
