A moment ago I was reading on another forum about a blower motor not working on a Beneteau 361 and then it occurred to me that I've never seen the engine compartment blower on my B40. If anyone here knows would you please enlighten me on it's location?

Thanks,

Wayne

The engine compartment exhaust blower is located on the port side behind the vent. You have to remove the propane locker to access it. To remove the propane locker you have to crawl into the rope locker below it and remove the hose that’s installed to exhaust any leaking propane. Don’t forget to reinstall it. The fuse for the fan is 10 amp and is located in the right hand side of the battery compartment. They also use the fuse for power to battery isolators.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Mike. Now I need to verify it works. I know it gets extremely hot in the engine compartment after a while.

Wayne, my never ran. I discovered the issue when the fuse blew. I then foolishly bought a new fan and installed it only to have it sound like a helicopter in the cockpit. I cushioned it and tightened it to no avail. I finally disconnected it without any issues.
