Hello,

I will see the Paguro and Mastervolt dealers at the Paris Boat show in december.

I have the installer studying the implantation under the tablet of the lazareete on starboard side.

Did you have your baot Antares surveyed by an expert and what was his conclusions ?

I hope you will get out of these problems.

If you come to Paris let me know.

Denis

PS I can't get access to the pictures on Ning.
Now I am curious how the Story will go on ...
Beneteau initially planed to do the Work on my boat from the 9th to the 20th ... now after the letter of my lawyer ...

I aspect an answer on the beginning of next week ...
Hello,
I went to the Paris boat show and met Mr Roth the aftersales manager. He told me they will fix the tank gauges and the loose stanchion of the starboard gate.

I hope they will treet you well like a customer deserves to be treated.

Denis

PS I visited the new 50 an 58. A lot of clever things.
Now, they have repaired all my gelcoat problems ( by temperatures under 8° !!!) I have to wait now, if there work was really successful or if new cracks will appear in a short time.

If you go to my page you can find a description of the electric panel in your boat
Alain, I see you have choosen the remote pilot control head. Be careful using it, if your batteries goes down, the AP automatically goes standby. We were caugh by surprise twice, then called Raymarine. The right configuration would be this remote be considered a slave of the StX000, but there is a failure on its design and as far as I know, Raymarine did not fix this.
thank you forthis information
Guys, I'm really late on this thread, but I'm exactly at this same dilemma. I had a Mastervolt before, and experience was really bad on noise and vibration. I saw a Paguro working, and seemed even worse. I'm curious on your experience sleeping with your genset on. I'm now considering a Onan 5KVA or Panda 6KVA, but will need to cut transon to enter the lazarette .... nice pics, thanks !!
Alain, another point regarding your mismatch on plotter vs radar. This is normal when using overlay feature, you might note the problem is even worse when in rough waters. There are too many relative moviment (compass, plotter, boat, mast, etc) that makes difficult to display all of them at same time. To reduce the problem install a gyro on your AP. But don't use the SeaTalk option, otherwise your problem would be worse as acceleration info updates would compete with other information on this bus. Instead, install it using the analog rate input your AP does have, this way you'll have updates quickly, overriding SeaTalk information (almost in parallel). Even with such arrangement, you may experience some error when boat is pitching hard.
Personally I prefer the separated windows showing radar and plotter, even if I need to zoom it mannualy, I think the screen get too poluted by information and my old eyes doesn't see that well anymore ....
our Gyro is connected with the output to the normal in of the course computer ...
Th problem is still there ....
