1984 Cal 31

I have 2 projects for this spring that are driving me nuts. One being replacing the rub rail, I know this is an old topic. I've searched every where including Seals & Spars who tells me its not available. I was thinking of buying plastic trim lumber (Plasteak) and having a wood shop duplicate the shape. Does this sound crazy?? It could be either white or wood color.

The second being the a propane tank for the stove, I have a good stove which has hardly ever been used, but no tank.…

Anew sailing year

Another year has passed. We were one of the lucky ones who took their boat away from the shore the Saturday before sandy hit. We brought her home to sit the winter out in the back yard. I hope we get some nice weather so I can get some work done on her before the season comes. I will keep everyone posted as we progress.

Robert & Sandy replied to sam's discussion need VIN alternate location urgently in the group Beneteau 40 & 43
"Sam On my 43 the VIN is on one of the hull floors (transverse ribs under the floor boards) adjacent to the stove. The are moulded into the gelcoat. Hope this helps. Regards Bilgolabands"
