Being mesmerized and captivated the first time I ever left a dock, my heart remains awestruck and fascinated with sailing. And just as the tides roll in and out, so too in my life did my best friend, the sailor who introduced me to the greatest joy of being on the water I’ve ever known. What did not leave and remains permanently etched in my soul, is a deep desire to sail again.

To learn, live and experience all elements related to sailing: the romantic, the routine, the rugged and the rough. I want to again ride that ultimate wave because if there is one thing I’ve learned so far, behind every low trough in the experience called sailing, there will always be another high crest.       Remember when you were a little kid and there was something so intriguing it dared you to break house rules to keep going?  And when mom said “no”, that lack of permission made you want it even more.  Then despite numerous pleadings of “oh mom, just one more time!”, your whining got you nothing.
