Profile Information

Profile Type:
Sailor
Homeport:
Virginia Beach
About Me:
Being mesmerized and captivated the first time I ever left a dock, my heart remains awestruck and fascinated with sailing. And just as the tides roll in and out, so too in my life did my best friend, the sailor who introduced me to the greatest joy of being on the water I’ve ever known. What did not leave and remains permanently etched in my soul, is a deep desire to sail again.
Current location:
Virginia Beach, VA
Looking to:
To learn, live and experience all elements related to sailing: the romantic, the routine, the rugged and the rough. I want to again ride that ultimate wave because if there is one thing I’ve learned so far, behind every low trough in the experience called sailing, there will always be another high crest. Always.

My friend Martin does digital art professionally. He could make you a great print of the sailboat painting, as well as the picture that you did. He's really reasonable, and probably free, if I tell him to be... lol ....and he's good at what he does.

"Auto ascending setup is an interesting idea, though it takes a bit of fiddling around to get it right. Once it's dialed in, it actually works quite well."

"Michael, From experience over three keel boats a fully battened main is almost a requirement. Not only will it make dropping the sail into the boom bag far easier it certainly reduces any flogging and vastly lengthens the life of the sail. While…"
