Suky—

I'd recommend you take a look at my blog, which has a lot of information on the Telstar 28. :) It's a great boat, and a lot of fun to own. I also have some videos up on Youtube that you can watch.

Hi - I don't liveaboard or even have muliti hull but love them. I'm considering Telstar 28 and would LOVE Maine Cat 30 but it's out of my price range. Just would like to lurk here and hear how you are doing.

The Shearwater sails out of Lake Worth - West Palm Beach -- happy to sail with guests if you are in the area - or serve as host if you stop in Lake Worth on your way to someplace else.

Mark, synthetic teak? Any thing dark on the deck will get hot, and in the tropics translates into hot below. My alternative is a good paint job with non skid built in.

How far along are you in this project? I built a Searunner 37, and the wife and I sailed her for 12 years before we made the mistake of moving ashore and selling her.
Who designed her?

Vern, No that is not a picture of our boat, but at times i wish is was. The pic is from the son of Town Hall folks - AKA the Flying Neutrinos, They are into bare bones - rfecycling and sailing with little reverence for style. Whenever I find myself taking things too seriously I visit their site, http://www.floatingneutrinos.com/. Oryoki can be seen at oryoki.net.
