Hi All,

just bought my first boat, a Gemini Cat.  Am hoping to learn how to sail it this summer on the Chesapeake.  Anyone near the Northeast River who would be interested in sharing their experience, I would appreciate the brain drain.

Fair winds..

Hi!  Just joining the group.  Last summer, my wife and I sold our Pearson 365 and bought Aventura, a 1993 Lagoon 37 TPI.  We love it.  New Orleans is home port and we cruise mostly along the northern Gulf coast and Florida.

Hello Searunner fans, I just purchased a Marples 35 of the same lineage. Just getting to know her. Will anyone be attending the 7 Seas Gam in November sponsored by 7 Seas Cruising Association? Any of you sail solo?

Built and sailed a Searunner 37 and am now building a 38 foot cat, part Dudley Dix design, part Derek Kelsall and part my own design using the KSS principle for hull building out of foam and resin infusion. Building in Vancouver, BC.

Some KSS info from a workshop I attended.http://farpointbuilder.blogspot.com/

I am presently cruising the caribbean with my husband aboard our Venezia 42 (Fountaine Pajot). Have been down here for 5 yrs. and have no desire to go back north. Previously lived aboard our skinny boat (Tayana 37) in Canada for 18yrs. Much better down here! Cheers

Richard - Check out Mobjack Bay. Lots of places to gunkhole, small towns and great people.
