SeaKnots

We have a new B40 with Classic Rig Main and it is painful to bring it down. We are not sure what is wrong, but would like to hear from all other B40 Classic Main owners to see how they are working.

We have had pros on board that are also stymied. Each time we sail, I need to pull each slide down one at a time and it can be difficult in various weather conditions.

Thanks for comments, suggestions and possible fixes.

I am not sure if you are having the same problems I had before with mine main sail. Was very difficult to bring it down and the problem was a small piece of wind tails that was stuck, was very difficult to find it.

Well, after many opinions and suggestions the problem has been resoled. Once we installed a Tides Marine Track System the mainsail now goes up and comes down exactly as advertised. I highly recommend this system to resolve anything related to sail up and down issues!!
