My friend tried to contact the owner, but never got a reply. Someone else probably scooped it up. Oh well, thanks for the tip! SK

Ahoy Scott, I was wondering the make and year of your boat. By chance is she a Columbia, or older Catalina?

Hi Scott,
Rendevousing (if there is such a word) sounds like fun. We are too looking for cruisers with families to hook up with. Unfortuantely, we sail out of Newport RI and don't get to the other side of the Cape. I have 2 girls, ages 1 and 6. However, I do have a friend who sails out of Salem and has 2 girls, ages 6 and 8. If you'd like I can pass on your info to them. They sail on a boat called Charisma, a C&C 30.

"Auto ascending setup is an interesting idea, though it takes a bit of fiddling around to get it right. Once it's dialed in, it actually works quite well."

"Michael, From experience over three keel boats a fully battened main is almost a requirement. Not only will it make dropping the sail into the boom bag far easier it certainly reduces any flogging and vastly lengthens the life of the sail. While…"
