So far I have been lucky with mine, she is small, from Japan and only has one lung but has preformed her duties faithfully since 1977 with never a whimper as long as you feed her well and keep her oiled, just a lot of noise and vibration, and I think she likes that. Well there was one time in 2006 when she started to slow down and then just stopped. I pulled out her gear and she started up again but when I tried to get her to perform she just quit. I looked around and saw that my companion that day had not tied the bow dock line down and it was pulled tight down the side of my boat and wrapped around the prop shaft. With only 8 HP my little lady just could not pull her way home. Went down and cut the line from the shaft and all was well with her and the world again. I have heard rumors that my ladies, boat and engine were upset that I let another female aboard. I am telling them that they better learn to share me.
Well my significant other, became very sick..it would have been more expensive to divorce him.....not much more though, so decided to get him into the hospital...bills piled up, as more exploratory surgery continued,..I do not have insurance for these surgeries....I did not have him looked over by a surveyor before I married him...which I strongly advise now.
The doctors assured me he is good to go.
i have a relationship with his cousin, 2qm20h--i love him to bits!!! reliable and dependable doesnt dribble smoke or drink and gewts me where i wanna go in a timely manner.......but lives in my ericson....

Lola,
We have sent injector and the fuel injection pump to the rebuild shop in New Jersey. The major problem is that the fuel metering adjustment screw on the pump had come loose some time ago and crept out of calibration. There is also a sticking fuel plunger and some old water damage. This shop has the pump test equipment to calibrate and run test the pump after repairs. We should get the pump back next week. You can assure your friends that we will time the pump properly when we install it. I' all let you know what develops
