SAILING MEETUP...HOW COOL

This is so Lola will gain experience and confidence in sailing her new boat. We hope to do the Downtown Market of Charleston as well. Maybe a live show or two in Mrytle Beach...if time Wilmington NC.
I hope the weather will cooperate for sailing.
We will post photos, and report of our adventures....in PHOTOS AND COMMENTS ON MEETUPS OF OUR MEMBERS IN THIS GROUP

Big brave adventure for me ... hope I'll actually be some help for Lola. :) But, I thought it was such a nice offer from Lola and a great chance for me to gain more experience and see a new area, I didn't want to pass up the opportunity. Any other ladies in the Charleston to Wilmington area that might join us for a day sail or possible overnight ... or just meet for drinks/ lunch / coffee .... that'd be great! - please contact Lola. Hey Ladye (spelled correctly) I'm backing out of the slip this week for the first time and then to the fuel dock, and then back into the slip...I may try to do a complete circle too...I will have another sailor from the Marina with me...remember I am learning...hope I don't run into anything..

I also did some maueuvering around the marinas Sunday, and Odis used a heplful technique with a dock line I'd seen him do before, which might help you in your slip ... we'll see when I'm there. It's getting close! Will be chilly, but that's ok. Are any fall colors still out? Neat beachside spots to eat and/or glass of wine. I'm casual, so hope not too fancy anywhere ... :)

Hi Lola, I'll email you my flight info. You don't have to worry about entertaining me .... I enjoy seeing new & different coastal areas. You can send any info you have on things you enjoy, and I'll look on line at Myrtle Beach & Charleston. Looking forward to the trip and new experience. Hope it won't be too cold by then.

Sounds good. I hadn't seen this before... still navigating this site. We are about to be hit with big storm and my mooring is still in the harbor. Hopefully all will be clear by Saturday.
