Hi Pete. Hope this finds you well.

I sold the boat, due to a broken leg, that left  me handicapped.  I want to continue being on Seaknots, for pleasant reminders, and I thought of you. Be in touch, as I follow you in your adventures

Hi Pete,

My boat is all repaired and new bottom paint.

Finally, I'm ready to continue my sailing skills...learning all the time.

Where have you sailed lately?

Have a great summer.

I can put you up in my home.. our Season is all year here. Has been raining a lot lately. You can follow my weather on my page.

Wow, time flies. Sorry I haven't checked in with SeaKnots lately. Been super busy with racing & training. Another big project was the rebuilding of our Farr 30 (Mumm 30) chainplates. Seems Carol Marine, the builder of most of the Farr 30's, read the design drawings wrong and drilled the access hole for the chainplates on the wrong side of the box frame thus weakening the structure. I've modified the chainplate with a 20 hr, $200 material repair that I suspect most Farr 30's will need someday. The new chainplate structure worked perfectly with 25 knots true wind racing this weekend.

The verdict is in, Bismark Dinius found not guilty in the absurd false accusation murder case of the fatal boating crash that caused the death of Lynn Thorton due to neglegent operation of a high speed powerboat by Russel Purdock.

Hi,

MANTA is an Ed Horstman 46 Trimaran, with a Cross designed keel, much better than the dagger boards, that did nothing.......Terry

Your family sounds like ours...teenage guitar playing son, family of skiers (eldest son becoming an instructor) ...no grandchildren yet, thank goodness. We have 4 kids 3 boys and a girl...the youngest is turning into a keen sailor and is keeping us young. We sail at the same club. You sure have plenty of experience...sounds like a great life. My keen fisherman hubby would love that...has to beat plumbing!!

Finished 1st on a handicap start last weekend, real thrill !! Have a 5 year plan to get a cruising yacht and leave Sydney behind....so I thought I had better learn to sail!!!!

Hi Pete. I graduated from boat school in 1972 and was not on the sailing time. I sailed recreationally at USNA and over the years since. No cruises nearly as long and adventuresome as your sailing resume. I know there is no excuse, sir, but my Navy and AT&T careers kept me moving, too busy and sometimes landlocked. I'm making up time now! All the best, Steve

Why are hubcaps less common on modern vehicles?

Hubcaps, which are attached directly to the wheel and rim assembly, are less frequently seen on modern vehicles. This shift is largely due to the adoption of wheels made from aluminum or metal alloys, which are less vulnerable to damage from salt, road chemicals, and harsh winter conditions compared to the previously common steel wheels.WheelCovers.Com prioritizes customer support and security to provide a seamless shopping experience.
