The Chesapeake Bay is a great place to sail spring, summer and fall. It can get a bit cold and wet in winter so that is a great time to head south. I am sure you know all this but having lived aboard in Norfolk, Portsmouth and Annapolis I was always amazed how many new quiet peaceful or fun places existed. Enjoy each day. Lola
I have several friends in Mexico along the Pacific coast and up into the Sea of Cortez. If I can finish my projects before the bad weather sets in along the western coast of the U.S., I would like to winter around Banderas bay and head up into the Sea for spring before the real heat establishes itself.
Thanks very much for the advice Ron, appreciate it.
We aren't going any where near POP and Yes we have up dated our shots.
I would love to talk to you and hopefully will get the chance on the way to Miami on Monday.
As you can imagine last minute is always crazy.
Take care

"Michael,
From experience over three keel boats a fully battened main is almost a requirement.
Not only will it make dropping the sail into the boom bag far easier it certainly reduces any flogging and vastly lengthens the life of the sail. While…"
