Kate,
Sorry I did not see your post on my wall. I was in the PNW but now am near Chicago. I did a live aboard skipper gig in Belize for 8 months and loved that. But not in the PNW.
No I dont own my own boat but am always looking for one it seems. I will start getting on here more often so lets chat some more...

Thanks
Dirk

Did you have following breezes sailing from Hawaii east to Pt. T? It seems like you might be beating to weather. Lovely boat.

I spent 22 years near Seattle. I had to move to sunny areas but now too far from the ocean. Pleanning the HaHa '10

Desolation - that's still on my list! I've heard you can spend a whole summer there exploring. I've been to YL Malibu up on Princess Louisa as a camper, and have always wanted to sail up there too! Great to touch base and hope to see you out there sometime! We got the weather this weekend!

"Well at least you’ve narrowed it down to the Genoa. I doubt here’s any issue with the hull or running gear. Nor do I think the slight list you have will have an impact either as many boats have the same based on how full the water and or…"

"Sounds like your rigging may be in need of tuning????? (Owned B43#19 for 10 years), Sailed from Mass to Tampa to Bahamas with it, great boat, no major issues at all. Boat has flat bottom basically so no need to put rails in water. I found it a very…"

"I’d also do a test using only the main. The more testing you do the more likely you’ll find the problem. I’d also check to see how much the leeward shrouds sag during all the tests. Let us know what you find. Good luck Mike"
