I love to take people sailing in Alaska. Ultimately I would like to find a mate who would like to live in Alaska in the summer and spend winters someplace warm.
We were supposed to sail to Sitka but the weather was too rough. I was so excited to see that part of the world, the mountains reaching to the ocean, the wildlife. You capture the area well it seems - at least the dream I harbor in my minds eye.
We did go to weather but never a following sea. I've been told one must wait till July for the winds to change. The capt. was eager to return home so here I am, back in Port Townsend earning to be back on the water! Have you found it difficult to make the transition back to land life after sailing?
