am surprised there are no more entries for this  group--haha leaves every year  end october from san diego to cabo san lucas--is a good rally  for those new cruisers who  enjoy guidance  in their  initial efforts to  go places.

is not a good idea to get between a momma anbd her baby grey whale--mommy will sink you
she thinks you are a predator to her young----this happens occasionally, not often.....

New to this group. We're planning to participate in the 2010 Ha Ha, and we're looking forward to being a part of such a great event! Any words of wisdom from Ha Ha vets in this group?

We did the 2008 Baja Haha, and placed #2 in the Kilo (big boys) division on the Hardin Force 50 ketch "Luna Sea". Not too bad for a rig that hadn't sailed in 5 years, not to mention one we had *never* even seen sailing. :) The boat was bought in Alameda in '07 and motored up to Portland for some much needed TLC. Good solid hull though. Trying to get the owner to build a site here for her. The other crew member just created his own profile "S/V Gwaihir" here. That is our day sailor moored here in P-Town.

Three time Ha Ha vet, once on Nauticat 43 Tally Ho (1998), then twice more on Oyster 485 Ti Amo. A blast, thanks to Richard and the great team that run and those who sail in it.

Are you going this year? Comment. I am going for sure next year, I have crew but think a few may drop before we go so if you are considering next years HaHa and don't have a ride let me know. I am in the Stockton Delta.
