Hi, Nice to hear from you. I am working on getting ready to launch soon. I keep my Bayfield in a barn at my home on the Ohio/Michigan line in the winter.
Nice photos of your boat, I will need to post some of mine one of these days. I had a web Site for a number of years for my boats; I had a Alacrity, and 2 Bayfield’s. Sold the 2nd one in December of2006 and gave my stepson the Alacrity after I bought the first Bayfield. He had it until last year until the gated community in Virginia he lives in said he could no longer keep it at home.
I have my boat at HVYC where the Maumee River goes into Lake Erie. If you’re ever down that way I am at dock 151. We have a sail fleet that tries to have different actives for sailors at the club.
Hi Voo,
How are all you guys. I have not been in the chat room in well over a year. You should see the boat, looks great, new head, new cabinets, new galley, new cushions. Nav. station. Thanks for the hello.
I was a bit hesitant at first also but then I saw the site on Sailnet I think it was and just joined myself 2 days ago. Folks on this site are quite scattered in locations but from the little I've seen of their profiles appear to be serious sailors.
Our Oceanis 43 was recently serviced and since her return neither of the heads macerators are working. There must be a master switch located on board, trouble is I cannot locate it. Any assistance most welcome.BilgolabandsSee More
"Have a 2010 43 and whilst racing recently and well heeled over on port had similar experience. Only in the aft heads and haven’t as yet sorted out where the ingress came from but suspect the shower drain. Never happened before in 15 years with…"
I note there has been no activity on SeaKnots Beneteau 40/43 since early 2025.Is one of my favourite boating sites still alive and kicking?BilgolabandsSee More
