Own a 1970 Westerly Cirrus that I keep on western Lake Erie, and a 1966 McVay Falcon 16' used for smaller lakes near my home in southeastern Michigan.
Current location:
Southeastern Michigan
Destinations visited:
Lake Erie, Detroit River, Lake St. Clair, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and smaller lakes throughout Michigan and Ohio. Sailed the Gulf from Lake Charles to Sarasota aboard a friend's boat. Used to crew for club races, but I really prefer the spontaneity of cruising.

Boy, I guess you're "well seasoned" then! Salt behind the ears! Heavy weather can beat the hell out of a boat. It's that "after the storm" let's peer down into the cabin......always a "oh my god" or "holy shit" moment, then we sit back down & just sit...........lol...takes a while to get back to "normal mode"! Thank goodness for adrenaline!
