This blog is crazy, or is it me. My last posting was repeated at least 3 times. Let us just hope my sail home from Bermuda to Port Canaveral is less bewildering.

The forecast for the next several weeks, per Chris Parker, is southwest winds. If you do not know where Port Canaveral is, can you make an educated guess as to which direction it is from this beautifully located island.

After a week of checking things out on the bermudian islands several things are noted.
1. No franchises--one local rumored a possible bus and overly strike to abolishnthenideanofna kentucky fried chicken

2. No advertising signs except on the buildings where place ofnbusinessnis.

3. Bus stops wherentherenis a park bench on sidewalks next to street. NO obnoxious signs with schedules.

4. Simple: want Ito know a schedule, where something is, how something works there are two excellent sources:
Visitor center and a I local

5. Want to have real fun....simile, tell a local they look happy, or that you appreciate their hard work, or ask why they like their fine island. Just from bantering with 3ladiesnat the laundromat because their system to pay for the washers and ipdryers befuddled me, the one gal folded our clothes while we sat in the coffee shop across the way. We did noteven broach the subject. When the dryer stopped and owe obviously had not returned, Rosetta took it upon herself. Though she did accept a piece of pound cake, she refused any payment. Later she drove us around the island ala free private tour. When she stopped the car at the dinghy dock, I opened my purse. She knew I wanted Ito give her a ofew dollars. Shouting in a gleeful tone, Rosetta exclaimed, "no ma'am, you can't give ome no nothing." as she was olaughing heartily, she popped open the passenger car door and literally shoved me out. Totally unrehearsed, Maryanne and I gave a resounding "we love you Rosetta!"

Now, I was just served one of my favorites, lobster stuffed ravioli with garlic bread and a tall unsweetened glass of virgin iced tea. No, I am not going to edit this blog because my limited experience with the iPod makes editing too much of a challenge at the moment. So fair winds my mates, On my way home, alone on me marples 35, SPRAY ...
