Profile Information

Profile Type:
Sailor
Homeport:
denver
About Me:
Still a slave to the system and going slowly insane waiting for the day to arrive when I can set sails to far ports myself.Spend every moment I can in the summer and fall on a lake near my home.I have more boats per acre than anyone else in my county.I tend to take some old unwanted vessels and return them to usable condition and I have 6 boats fron 10 ft to 35 ft on my place.
Current location:
denver
Destinations visited:
Have sailed in the waters around the keys, down at cozumel, and now in San diego bay,but mostly various lakes around Colorado and ,ok;ahoma and Texas.
Looking to:
Finish up a project or two, sell everything I cant carry on my 35 ftr and pick up the cruising life.Would like to see the carribean before it all goes to hell in a handbasket.,maybe work on an open ended circumnavigation.

"Auto ascending setup is an interesting idea, though it takes a bit of fiddling around to get it right. Once it's dialed in, it actually works quite well."

Robert & Sandy left a comment for Michael Boyle
"Michael, From experience over three keel boats a fully battened main is almost a requirement. Not only will it make dropping the sail into the boom bag far easier it certainly reduces any flogging and vastly lengthens the life of the sail. While…"
