I have an electronics company that I started 17 years ago. We make electronics for military and I am working to sell the company so that I can retire. I started out as a boy of 12 doing ham radio and went on to become a radio receiver designer. These days for me it has become boring work doing the management tasks. I am a creative type person and the timing is good to sell and move on to be retired and sail much more.

What do you do for a living, what is your profession? Do you live near the Bosphorus, in Europe or Asia?

Probably a good choice. I think that the Chinese will probably take over the world someday!

Good Afternoon and thanks. I am sure that I will be back. I have many fine memories of Turkey and especially Istanbul. When I was visiting from Ankara, I would take the commuter ferryboat from Halic that runs up to the Kara Deniz for the sunset and then back with the boats using their searchlights to avoid the small boats. What does your son wish to study? I am an Electrik Muhendis and it has been a good career for me. A Turkish professor at my Univ in Arkansas suggested I take my Rotary Fellowship at ODTU and that is how I got to Turkey long ago.
