as to the book, why would he need a sailboat? He didn't want to leave..I imagine he ate, chicken, eggs,fish, and some vegs from his garden...I often wonder why he did not eat the wild bores...prob he needed to kill them so did not distroy the garden..and the meat would not keep? Being resourceful and on own would be the height of self satisfaction

Curious how did you get the book? I had to order it. Did you read ISLAND OF DESIRE?
