The boat you're "giving away"...that's not the one in the photos? It looks pretty nice. It's an inboad, right?

Hey Paul,
I'm going to begin doing a little research on Rockholt and I'll let you know what I come up with. I was pretty surprised at how little there is on the web.

Hi Russ, I'll pass on your information to my dad. Turns out, when we bought the boat on friday, the lady who sold us the boat said that someone from Marysville with the last name "Rockholt" wanted to come down and see it. She told the lady who sold us the boat that she was indeed a part of the Rockholt family. Sounds like a great match. She can fix it up!

Paul, I am moving, and will not have a place to keep/work on the Rockholt. Know anybody who wants a project boat? I have much of the materials already, but will need to unload it fast.

Yes I heard the same thing. I've actually called Christy Concrete company They own the building that the rockholts were built in. Its located right next to the Yuba county airport. There was a guy that worked for rockholt and then for christy concrete and has retired a number of years ago. I sent him a e-mail and some photos of the boat but never heard back from him ??

Hi Lola. Welcome to Boat ownership. You know the old saying: the two happiest days in a boat owner's life are the day she buys it and the day she sells it! :-)
Sorry I took so long to answer back. Next time you are in Yountville, let me know. I can hook you up with wine tours, segway tours and maybe even a sail around the bay.
