About Me:
Own a 1970 Westerly Cirrus that I keep on western Lake Erie, and a 1966 McVay Falcon 16' used for smaller lakes near my home in southeastern Michigan.
Current location:
Southeastern Michigan
Destinations visited:
Lake Erie, Detroit River, Lake St. Clair, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and smaller lakes throughout Michigan and Ohio. Sailed the Gulf from Lake Charles to Sarasota aboard a friend's boat. Used to crew for club races, but I really prefer the spontaneity of cruising.
Looking to:
I greatly enjoy meeting other sailors and sharing knowledge and good times. I enjoy working on my boats (hardly seems like real work), and learning more about sailing, sailcraft, history and traditions. I singlehand a lot. Crew slot available!

Lake Erie Pirates Steal Toledo Lighthouse Dock and Ramp

Lake Erie Pirates stole the Toledo Lighthouse boat lift, dock and ramp apparently for scrap aluminum – they must be caught and brought to justice. Last Thursday, April 9th, the dock and ramp were seen in good order. Saturday the dock, ramp and lift were gone. The Toledo Lighthouse Society is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to arrest and conviction of the thieves. Hi Voo. Yes all is fine with me thank you. But what a mess in the city. It was just so swallow some of the after shocks are only 2km deep. On tv last night they said it was the worst earthquake internationaly because of it being so shallow. Hope you can see this site.

Hi, At least you're getting boat stuff done. Here alot of times it just so darn cold. Rain coming today and for the next 3 days I think. Weekend looking good, so far..will take boat across the cove to new place on sat. All workers my current marina were a buzz on hearing Twizzled not staying. Oh well. We had a nice sail with an omygeezus moment thrown in for good measure. You know sailing..always an adventure

"It sounds like your AC breaker tripped.  Just incase you've overlooked the obvious.  Try to Close and then Open the main panel AC Outlets breaker."
