Profile Information

Profile Type:
Yacht Club/Marina/Other
Homeport:
Long Beach, California
About Me:
i have a 42' Chris Craft Commander that we have named
" ESCTASEA" I belong to the CCCommander club and have communicated, by email with many of the members. however, nearly all of them live on the East coast or in the central U.S. I certainly like to share power boating experiences and chat about boating. I have much to learn from those with more experience. This is my first large boat and it has been a learning curve to become competent in docking and crusing a big , twin diesel cruiser.

"Auto ascending setup is an interesting idea, though it takes a bit of fiddling around to get it right. Once it's dialed in, it actually works quite well."

"Michael, From experience over three keel boats a fully battened main is almost a requirement. Not only will it make dropping the sail into the boom bag far easier it certainly reduces any flogging and vastly lengthens the life of the sail. While…"
